Can we still be friends?

Yes, we can still be friends but the kind of change that the person you voted for will bring the WRONG change for America. He is against everything that is good and true. He really HATES this country.

Whoa whoa whoa, let's all hold our judgements now. Everything's going to be alright. Let's just all love and support eashother, okay?

Spoken like a true social worker, huh.

Linds, I'm disappointed in you. How can you reconcile his abortion views? I felt a lot of bitterness and hatred oozing from him when I read his biography. Hope you were able to read it...

Hi Lindsay! Isn't it interesting that the two hot topics Religion &/Or Politics can take rather lovely people and divide them so quickly? I think your vote speaks your mind. One issue does not a candidate make. However, I think it takes a highly educated and 'in the know' person to make a qualifying generalization be believable- otherwise it's simply opinion spoken boldly. I'm interested to see (as a McCain voter but Obama watcher) what comes of this highly regaled President-elect. I'm impressed to see so many younger voters shaking things up and having a voice. I'm excited to see patriotism becoming en vogue and people thinking instead of waving the issues away and then going back to their HD tv's. Whether Obama is a real wind of change or a musty draft of problems is yet to be proven. I like your spirit Miss Linds and I don't hold it against you one bit- if anything you show you're involved and THAT only adds to all the other things I like about you. I want to see good things happen to good people and America recharged from the grass roots to the skyscrapers- if Obama can deliver a stronger America, then it's well worth my support.

We all want change, but there is good change and bad change. From our talks I don't think you fully understand what kind of "change" Obama will bring. You have to look past all the rhetoric and understand the impact of what he wants to do.

Jared is right on!!! I guess that is what I was trying to say. I was just a little emotional when I wrote my comment.
