Call me crazy...

But I don't think 37 degrees is shorts weather. Even if the sun is out. I know it's above freezing, but really?

I saw 3 people wearing shorts on campus today and I just don't get it.

Steve would have totally been one of those people. Crazy... It's got to be VERY VERY hot for me to pull out the ol' shorts!

I agree, but I'm always cold. I will still be wearing my down jacket when it is 60 out...it's a good thing I live in Minnesota where it is below freezing 6 months of the year.

isnt that crazy! i swear, in the fall, the first day it hits 50 everyone is out in parkas hats and mittens. then come february and the moment it hits above freezing its time for shorts!

There are two very logical explanations. One, some of us don't feel cold down on the leg portions of our bodies, so as long as the upper body/head is covered, we feel warm. Two, we spend 95-99% of our day indoors, often in over heated buildings, and feel hot and uncomfortable in pants. The relative cold we feel for 5 minutes outside is worth feeling comfortable indoors for hours. Hope that helps clear things up.
