I'm proud to be an American.

Not sure why THIS was so hottly debated. I couldn't find one thing that I wouldn't want children (or everyone for that matter) all over this country to hear and heed.

It wasn't the content that bothered me. It was the character that delivered it and the communist company he keeps. Love you Linds, but definitely not a fan of Obama. It's all a little Stalinesque if you ask me. Total invasion into every area of our lives. That's audacity, Mr. Obama.

I don't especially like Obama myself, but the office of President of the United States still should command some respect and it seems like people would think it was an honor to have the President thinking about their kids. I understand people not wanting him trying to convince little children to agree with his policies, but the speech wasn't about that at all. You should listen to the very first joke on last Saturday's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. It's about this and it made me laugh pretty hard.

I don't know if you've moved, but my mom is sending a baby shower invite to the address I had for you in SLC, so if you don't live there anymore, let me know what your new address is so she can send another one.
