Rain rain go away
It's June. So why does weather.com show the little rain/lightening bolt image for the next 10 days?!

Huh?
I didn't know there was such a thing as a camouflaged kilt until I saw this man at Paradise Bakery today. I can't decide whether it was a decision of fashion or a matter of work attire. But then I tried to think of any job where it would require one to wear a camouflaged kilt and I couldn't think of one. He had a few tools and some serious boots- any ideas?Monday, June 1, 2009
"Someday you'll be glad I kept that."
I think I heard this phrase at least 26 times today.
I came down to Alpine to help my mom "clean" the basement. Somehow "cleaning'" became a little more like sifting through a bunch of junk that my mom wouldn't let me get rid of because "it's not junk, it's memories".
Just in case any of you need 47 picture frames from the 80's, any sort of electronic cord that is surely out of date, small teddy bear cheerleader figurines, or VHS tapes- don't worry, we've got 'em. And according to my mom, someday I'll be glad. We'll see mom, we'll see.

I love cation
Anyone who has spent any amount of time with the Rozier family knows that we definitely have our own vernacular. One of my favorite Rozier words is "cation"- as in vacation.
When you're on cation you can do things like sleep in late and drink soda for breakfast (or maybe that's everyday) and read silly Hollywoood gossip magazines 'cause after all "It's cation!" ( I wish you could all hear my mom use that as justification for all sorts of things to my dad). Anyway, I was on cation this week, which means I ate frozen yogurt for dinner for the last six nights- guilt free.

Sorry I disappeared...
I was busy graduating...
And drinking a keg of rootbeer (turns out it's a lot of rootbeer- like more than a few weeks worth)...

Food Storage?
I went home to Alpine the other day and was happy to see that should the Swine Flu hit Utah, my parents will be okay. Don't worry, they've stocked up on Top Ramen and cherry flavored candy canes- two staples for any healthy diet.
